The stables, Home Farm is set in 80 acres of glorious English countryside, one mile east of Ashdown Forest in the High Weald area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Originally a Victorian farm, the Stables nestle beside a Sussex barn giving it a sheltered and private setting. The pretty enclosed country garden looks out across the wildflower meadows to the woods beyond and all of this is accessible to visitors. The interior has been sensitively restored with many original features including stable doors, beams and a vaulted living room and all twenty first century comforts.

The Stables are delightfully rural and yet close to amenities and public transport. You can walk from your doorstep through the woods or onto Ashdown Forest, looking out for deer, badgers and many species of birds on your way; you can enjoy attractive local villages, pubs and regional food and wine, and local attractions such as the Bluebell Railway. If going further afield takes your fancy, the coast, historic country houses, Glyndebourne opera house and London are all easily accessible. This conversion offers a superb getaway, for everyone, in a truly unspoilt location
The owners are committed to sustainable tourism: solar panels have been installed and logs provided are from the Home Farm woods. The property is a Country Land and Business Award Winner and member of the Green Tourism Business Scheme
