Introduction

The Stables is a converted nineteenth century cart-house on a Victorian farmstead. You will be most welcome and enjoy the unique atmosphere

Pre-Arrival

• The letting agents will have sent joining instructions and directions. There is also a website: www.homefarmholidays.co.uk
• The nearest bus stop is on the A26, 150m away. Crowborough railway station is 3 miles away and Haywards Heath 13 miles away.
• RADAR toilets are available in both the nearest towns, in Croft Road Crowborough and Luxford car park in Uckfield
• Taxi offices are in Crowborough and are listed in the Welcome pack in the Stables

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

• If the time of arrival is pre arranged it is always possible to meet guests and show them around
• There is space to park and unload outside the stables 3m from the front door. Access is across on a brick path and through a gate ( single gate 1.2m wide, double gate 3m)
• Parking is on the former farmyard on gravel 30m away with room for 10 cars

Main Entrance & Reception

• The main entrance faces across your own garden. The front door is 85cm x 2.25m hinged to the left. The double entrance step is 16cm high and a ramp is availableon request. The front door opens into the hallway with access to the kitchen, bathroom and living room
• A second entrance to the living room is 1.1mx 2.1m hinged to the left
• Door from the hallway is 85cm x1.8m high up a 17cm step to the living room
• There are 6 armchairs and floor cushions and stools. The dining area has a table (70cm x2m) and 6 chairs. The carpet is beige
• There is central heating and a Wood burning Stove. Lighting is ceiling spot lights (placed on the beams in the high ceiling), wall lights and a standard lamp.
• The TV has a remote control and video
• The wood staircase leads to the gallery ( 3.3m x 2.8m) The single handrail is 94cm above the treads

• There is a 10cm step up to the downstairs bedroom which has a stable door 1.04m x2m hinged to the right
• The double bed is 1.50 m x 2.00m with feather pillows, and non feather duvet. Sheets , duvet covers and pillow cases are cotton/polyester mix
• There is space of 97cm to the right of the bed and 40cm to the left. There are lights on the bedside tables
• Stairs from the sitting room lead to the Gallery with a double sofa bed.
• Step 20cm up to the upstairs ‘hayloft’ bedroom door is 84cm x 1.5 m
